Falling Off the Auction Block

Today is the first day of the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative's April auction
and for reasons I do not understand..my quilt
#9125 - Change and Transition was suddenly removed from the auction site! I am so upset and so disappointed (and embarrassed) I can hardly stand it!!!!!

Apparently, it ended up measuring just a tad bit too large to be legal and to be fair to the rules and regulations set by AAQI..it had to be pulled!

April Fool's!

It is officially up at auction and the auction opened today! But! and this is no joke! my quilt does not have a single bid on it yet. Please, please can someone give it a jumpstart and an opening bid of $40? I hate being stuck behind the gate, or the last one out of it, when it is for such a special cause and so important to me and to my family! And besides! I LOVE this quilt and want it to go to a good home!

Thanks for all of your support. Just check out my quilt and let it have an enlarged viewing at #9125 - Change and Transition

Love all of your and Happy April's Fool Day!

And please do bid on my quilt and keep the bidding going. All proceeds from the sale of all of the quilts fund Alzheimer's research.

Ah...you got me! I donated a quilt that was a 1/4" too big once and it never made it through the registration process, so I couldn't imagine that yours would get as far as the auction before an error in size was noticed. Good one! LOL

I just love you and your blog. You never fail to inform, entertain, or teach me something new. Hope the rest of your month if filled with bright happy colors and sunshine.

You are a clever one! Since I am the "registration police" for AAQI, I know your quilt was within the size limit! If anything gets by me, it sure doesn't get past Diane!

Congrats on another fabulous quilt!
