Snippets and Threadtales

The chickens are all agog. Clucking tall tales from in the coop, ontop of the coop and flying the coop!

They're used to my company several times a day, but I've been busy in my design loft and sewing nook and they've missed me! But they found their way to check up on me, anyway!

Two quilts cut, laying out in my current
favorite layout awaiting sewing the strips and blocks together. And a little fleece vest, my own design and pattern, too.

Oh, and small fleece blankets, too. Sewn, not tied here. Nicer on beds...no fluffy but bumpy tied lumps!

I have been re-reading my most popular posts this week. To be honest, I ended up laughing SO hard.

I know I'm capable of being an over achieving crazy woman but sometimes
I have to look at myself especially in retrospect.

My kids, grandkids, and even my cat and grandpups wonder about me!

Quilter's ADD: Most Stash, She Won!

Read this post ( linked above) from 2009 and if you're not exhausted come back and look at my projects and activities right now.

It got over 1,000 visits this week. So, others must be talking about me, too! Ha.

I was working on a 2 years old's 2nd birthday gifts and started a last minute fleece vest. I didn't have a pattern, couldn't find my 1978 one anywhere..haha.

So, I found some packing paper and drew one up.  Made it more complex by being totally reversible right down to pockets, trims, and fasteners.

It didn't fit her so I remade it, topstitching and all 3 times  I'll give it to her before she's 3.

Saturday,  was my charitable quilting and blanket making day.  This is dear Mary holding up all the completed donations.

Such fun working on helping others with donated bits of fabrics and purchased fleece for blankets for foster children and others in need of knowing they're cared about.  💜

Great, busy fun!
Thanks for stopping by for a visit!

I didn't mean you, busy body chickens  that bring me so much work and fun!

Loved your post Michele. Our Jess has chickens and she found what characters they are
