Quiltmaker Magazine and the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative (AAQI)

Imagine my delight this morning, when I opened Quiltmaker Magazine's Online Blog and discovered that Diane Harris had not only written about the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative (AAQI) and our April online auction, but showcased several of our quilts...beginning with mine!

How absolutely wonderful of them! A bit of a shock to be staring at my own auction quilt but also total delight as I am so happy for any extra publicity to this wonderful cause..and hey, a little shout out always feels really personally good, too!

My art quilt #9125 - Change and Transition is currently up at auction and is now up for bidding with the current bid sitting at $95. Check it and all of the other quilts out and please do consider bidding on any of these wonderful quilts. I would personally love having my quilt raise as much as it possibly can, I can't help it!

Thank to Diane Harris and the Quiltmaker online blog for this wonderful piece about AAQI and our charitable efforts, and accomplishments! And hey, it put a great big smile on my face today, too :)

Even thought I'm not an art quilter at all, I just really love everything you do. This one is exceptional in my opinion. Congratulations and I hope it earns a lot of money for your cause.

Your beautiful quilt is a wonderful example of what charity and the the spirit of giving are about - it shares your love with the needs and wants of the recipient taken into account very beautifully.

This is a gorgeous piece that you made. I'd put it on my website if I had one to advertise this cause. It's amazing!
