Celebrate!

International Quilting Day and have fun for the entire weekend!

As a gift to all of us, TheQuiltShow.com is sharing FREE access to over 160  WebTV shows featuring some of the top quilting instructors in the world.

You can also enter the TQS prize drawing with a grand prize of a BERNINA 550QE and wonderful fabric prizes. So check in at www.thequiltshow.com (ends at midnight, March 16th) and enjoy the shows and any and all exploring of The Quilt Show website.

I've been sewing and quilting almost everyday this entire week! So, no sneak peeks on my top secret project, yet, but I am sharing photos of other works ...and some utility hand quilting on my newest table runner!

Every time I hand quilt, I am reminded of just how much like a meditative practice it truly is. I felt centered, grounded, and oh..yes, sacrificial blood did get involved! But the balm of hydrogen peroxide for both fingers and fabric took care of that! Then, right back to being calm, and centered, and in my meditative practice of hand quilting ;-)

Here is some of my own primary sharing links, in honor of a weekend of sewing, quilting, and web hopping!

Love all of  Y'all, Youse, and You Guys!

Michele Bilyeu blogs With Heart and Hands as she shares a quilting journey through her life in Salem, Oregon and Douglas, Alaska. Sewing, quilting, and wildcrafting, with small format art quilts, prayer flags, and comfort quilts for a variety of charitable programs. And best of all, sharing thousands of links to Free Quilt and Quilt Block Patterns and encouraging others to join her and make and donate quilts to charitable causes.   Help us change the world, one little quilt, art quilt, and prayer flag at a time!
